Take a break either leisurely or sportive, perhaps for a day, weekend or week cycling through the Devon lanes. What could be better than a few days sleeping in a either a 15th century thatched Devon country inn or a 4 star manor house hotel, starting those days with a hearty locally sourced breakfast followed by either an informative guided ride discovering beautiful Devon lanes perhaps including some cider or cheese tasting finishing with a Devon Cream tea or a sportive tour across the moors looking forward to a first class evening meal.
I organize bespoke cycling tours to suit all abilities and motivations, for example an easy paced leisure ride, perhaps a gastronomic tour of the areas great restaurants, maybe a sportive ride over our moors or between our northern and southern coastlines.

Warhorse Valley and cider sample:- A leisurely day ride through the country lanes and delightful cob and thatch filled villages surrounding this haven of quintessential English countryside. Cider tasting & Clotted Devon Cream tea rewards await at the War Horse Valley Country Farm Park.
Dartmoor or Exmoor explorer: -A tour across the moors that make this part of England unique and so very special, taking in places of interest with testing climbs and well deserved descents, always finishing with well a deserved Devon ice cream or cream tea?
Typical Leisure day rides circa 40Km to 60km with up to 700m climbing 5 hours (Distances and elevations and can be changed to suit the groups requirements)
For the more sportive rider typical Full day rides circa 100-140km with up to circa 1750m climbing 5-7 hours

This cycling tour can be tailored to suit the motivations of any group with choices of hotel, restaurant, route, distances and support.
Perhaps you want to test yourself or just tour at your leisure. You can stay in a historic coaching inn or a 4 star castle or manor house hotel. You can choose to eat at a Michelin starred restaurant or a locally famed Devon country pub in an idyllic village. West Devon offers great dinning from award winning chefs such as Micheal Cannes at Gidleigh Park, Mark Dodson's The Masons Arms and Anton Buttery’s Langmans Restaurant to an abundance of first class award winning country inns such as the Duke of York in Iddlesleigh or The Drewe Arms in Drewsteignton . Devon is the larder of England and delivers the best locally farmed produce to the best fish straight from the Devon coastline.
The cycling in Devon is a unique experience with its northern and southern coastline, fishing villages, the two national parks of Exmoor and Dartmoor, its rolling farmland and traditional villages cob and thatch filled villages Devon cannot fail to leave you with memories that you will treasure.
The standard sportive tour day rides are approximately 5-7 hours at a comfortable pace, however whether you want a challenge or simply to explore this outstandingly beautiful area by bike we can tailor routes upon request given an ideal distance, elevation or technical aspect to suit your requirements, coffee and cake or ice cream stops are always included.
